GI Earthing Pipe – Maintenance-Free Chemical Earthing Electrode
Our GI Earthing Pipe is a sealed, maintenance-free earthing electrode made from hot-dip galvanized medium-class GI pipe filled with a conductive compound. It is designed for fast dissipation of fault current and keeps earth resistance low and stable over time.
Unlike traditional pipe earthing, this electrode does not need water to be poured for periodic maintenance. Moisture-proof backfill compound bags are supplied with it to lower earth resistance around the electrode. It is quick to install and needs very little space at site.
The electrode is most suitable where the target earth resistance is 3.0 ohm or less. Efficient grounding reduces the risk of electrical sparks and fire, and improves the reliability of power, electronic and communication systems.
